Material performance       
Low voltage polyethylene has high melting point, rigidity, hardness and strength, low water absorption, good electrical properties and radiation resistance; High pressure polyethylene has good flexibility, elongation, impact strength and permeability; UHMWPE has high impact strength, fatigue resistance and wear resistance.     
    

Low pressure polyethylene is suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts and insulation parts; High pressure polyethylene is suitable for making films, etc; UHMWPE is suitable for shock absorption, wear resistance and transmission parts.
 

Formability       
1. The crystallized material has low moisture absorption, no need to be fully dried, excellent fluidity, and is sensitive to pressure. High pressure injection should be used when molding. The material temperature is uniform, the filling speed is fast, and the pressure is fully maintained. Direct gate should not be used to prevent uneven shrinkage and increase of internal stress. Attention should be paid to the selection of gate position to prevent shrinkage and deformation.2. The shrinkage range and shrinkage value are large, the directivity is obvious, and it is easy to deform and warp. The cooling speed should be slow. The mold should be equipped with cold material cavity and cooling system.

3. Heating time should not be too long, otherwise it will decompose and burn.

4. When soft plastic parts have shallow side grooves, they can be demoulded by force.

5. It is not suitable to contact with organic solvent to prevent cracking.
